PLATO organizes seven colloquia a year in which distinguished scholars, journalists, public figures; and other professionals address topics of wide interest. Past speakers include CEO of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Michael Govan; Loyola Law Professor, Laurie Levenson; renowned neurologist, Daniel Siegel; UCI constitutional scholar, Erwin Chemerinsky; civil rights activist, Connie Rice; and Oscar winning producer, Walter Mirisch. PLATO members and their guests are welcome to attend. The program starts at 1:30 pm.
