The PLATO Society of Los Angeles

The PLATO Society is a member-governed institute for peer-led seminars in the liberal arts and sciences. Through our signature Study Discussion Groups (SDGs), members design syllabi, lead discussions, and sustain colleqial inquiry across history, literature, philosophy, arts social and natural sciences, and public policy. Offerings meet on site at Gayley and online and are accompanied by lectures and colloquia.
