The PLATO Society of Los Angeles

PLATO is a community of more than 400 people who believe that learning is as important to a full life as anything we can do. 

For 45 years, people of diverse backgrounds - teachers, lawyers, creative artists, physicians, homemakers, writers, engineers, business executives - people just like you - have been engaged in discovering new things about the world, learning about topics that they never studied in school, or delving deeper into  areas that always intrigued them. Our members engage in spirited discussions about literally everything under the sun.
